I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Dr. Li Yong on his new well earned appointment as Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. I am confident that Dr. Li Yong skills and leadership will drive UNIDO to become the lead Organization of sustainable industrial development and will address the important opportunities and challenges laying ahead in our future.I take this opportunity to look forward in working closely with him and strengthen the cooperation in benefit of the developing world.
